The Performing Arts Resource Centre of Asturias is a project based in La Laboral that supports regional professionals in stage creation and research, providing material and human resources from the Laboral Theatre for the conception, creation and staging of the work.
The Residency Programme, a twice-yearly initiative, is part of its activity. The companies selected for this programme receive financial support, with each residency lasting a maximum of four weeks. Additionally, each company has a technical manager from the Laboral Theatre team to provide support and coverage during the residency period, along with auxiliary personnel to load, unload and move scenery or materials.
In addition, the Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura collaborates with professionals of culture and artistic work by temporarily lending the stage spaces of the Theatre, Paraninfo, rehearsal rooms (Blue Room, Yellow Room and Orange Room) and the LABoral Centro de Arte studio with the respective technical facilities for the development of artistic projects of any kind.
